Learn How To Make Onion Samosa With Chef Samatha Only On Variety Vantalu.<br /><br />#OnionSamosa/ #PattiSamosa is one of the most popular appetizer or snack in India. these small samosas served in most of the Iranian Cafes in Hyderabad.<br /><br />Ingredients used in ONION SAMOSA<br />• Oil - as required.<br />• Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon.<br />• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.<br />• Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon.<br />• Salt - to taste.<br />• Green chillis - 3 numbers.<br />• Poha - 1 cup.<br />• Water - as required.<br />• Onions - 1 cup.<br />• Maida - 1 tablespoon.<br />• Flattened Rice - 1/4 kg<br />• Turmeric Powder - 1/4 teaspoon<br />• Raw Mango Powder - 2 tsp<br />• Garam Masala - 1/2 teaspoon <br /><br />For Onion samosa filling<br /> Onion thinly sliced – 3/4 cup<br /> Cabbage thinly sliced – 1/2 cup<br /> Green chilies finely chopped – 2<br /> Chilli powder – 1 tsp<br /> Coriander leaves – few finely chopped<br /> Poha/aval/flattened rice – 1/2 cup<br /> Salt needed<br /> Oil for deep frying<br /> A small cup of all-purpose and water paste<br /><br />Method:<br />1. Take a bowl to add wheat flour, rice flour, salt, 1 teaspoon oil mix well then add water to make a soft dough and rest it for 15minutes.<br />2. Now in another bowl, take onions chopped,poha, chili powder, cumin powder, green chilies, coriander, chat masala mix well.<br />3. In a small bowl add 1teaspoon of maida mix with some water and make a paste keep aside.<br />4. Now take the dough roll like a thin sheet.<br />5. Now slightly heat the rolled sheets on both sides on a pan.<br />6. Once chapaties are ready, cut them into a long strip.<br />7. Now apply maida paste one side of the sheet, make cone stuff the mixture in the center then seal the edges.<br />8. In a pan add oil to deep fry, first half fry and remove then after 5minutes fry again till golden color.
